his video was taken on Thursday 1st 10 2009 night following a protest about cuts in jobs and possibly services due to the conservative councils recklessness. The council is trying to shift the blame onto the government but only gets 9% of its revenue from central government. It is also one of the most secretive councils in england were infomation on what is going to be discussed is hard to ascertain. They also dont like to be recorded or by video or audio so the public dont know the kind of people they elect. Conservative MP Julian Brazier was also apparently in attendance but i did not see him or hear him. CCC has also employed 10 more council executives in the last 4 years bringing the number of executives employed by the council to 35 who each are on over £50 000 each more than any council in England yet we dont know what they do. The citizens advice bureau also lost its funding be for the banks crashed and although its a charity poor people need it more now than ever. i would’nt put it passed this council to also cut some of our library’s. Kent county council are as bad and are also run by the conservatives and they are responcible for our roads. their is a big need for rented property but the council is more interested in giving land to private developers much of which is not sold and remains empty while people go homeless. An apology to all those who have had their comments disapear, it appears my home page may of been hacked and i have changed my password to make …

The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars. Delve into what it was like to live during the eighteenth century by reading the first-hand accounts of everyday people, including city dwellers and farmers, businessmen and bankers, artisans and merchants, artists and their patrons, politicians and their constituents. Original texts make the American, French, and Industrial revolutions vividly contemporary. ++++ The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. Record numbers of Brits are seeking help with their debt problems according to new figures from the Citizen’s AdviceBureau (CAB).
The charity is certainly one place that Brits go for credit card advice.
Annual statistics show that it was hit by a staggering 2.37 million separate debt cases. This is an increase of 23 per cent on last year’s numbers.
As an average, the figures mean that one in ten British households is asking for the assistance of the Citizen’s AdviceBureau in resolving outstanding debt issues.
The report says that debt is its biggest area of advice and makes up 34% of all its enquiries. The largest category for problems remains credit cards. The CAB reports 422,835 issues being dealt with last year, an increase of 11 per cent on the year before.
Other large increases within the debt category include calls about debts to private bailiffs – these were up 38% compared to last year. Enquiries about debts to the Social Fund meanwhile were up by a third. Those getting in touch with the CAB regarding mortgage and secured loans arrears meanwhile were up by 21%.
The total amount of cases dealt with by the charity amounts to 7.1 million. This is an increase of more than a million compared to the year before which amounted to six million.
The charity, which is funded by the public purse, said that 2.1 million individuals had received advice from their local bureaux in total, up from 1.9 million the year before.
However, there are a number of other places that individuals can go for advice about cards especially when they don’t have a specific issue or complaint.
The rise of sites that allow users to compare credit cards has led to an increase in the amount of information online and there is also help from other non-professionals in a number of online forums.
These sites also help consumers because they list aspects of credit card terms and conditions that the providers themselves often leave out.
For example, when looking at 0% balance transfer cards they’ll list the provider’s allocation of payments policy.
Previous research has shown that people also go for credit card advice from their friends and family.
This is useful because they can share experiences and answer direct questions.
However, it has led to some myths about credit cards continuing to persist even though the laws or rules that they pertain to have since been changed or become obsolete.
For example, it’s common that people know that you shouldn’t withdraw cash using a card that’s meant for borrowing but more rare for them to know that gambling transactions also count as a cash withdrawal.
